I got this one in a local park about two years ago.
The fly was on the floor next to where I was sitting. I quite simply knelt down and took half a dozen shots of it, this one being the best.
It was taken using a Fuji S5700 bridge camera which, even then was about three years old.
The "macro" settings on those things, if you're careful, can turn in some really good results.
It also has the benefit of being capable of being operated in complete silence.
