Thanks Phill,
That lovely light lasted for less than a minute. I got this shot totally by chance. I went into the garden for some reason, saw this, went back in for my camera and quite literally took the shot using whatever settings were already in it.
Fortunately, I keep it set to something fairly generic, dependent upon the weather at the time, usually about F11, AP ISO 1 or 200.
Set up that way, I find that I can use it (more or less) straight away and I should come home with something usable.

Your braver than me Bren, when there was snow here it was about -10° and I stayed inside with a glass of whisky, lovely light you've found there.
